18 Avocado Pudding

This stuff tastes good, and you can pretend your being healthy.

1 ripe avocado

Bowl for mixing

1 - 2 tsp cocoa powder

Fork and/or spoon

1 - 2 tsp honey

Preparation:

  1. Do what you do to get the meat of the avocado out. I usually slice it in quarters to be able to peel the skin off.
  2. You may want to cut it up as much as possible with a knfe.
  3. Start mashing it. This is 95% of the work. Get it to a very smooth consistency. You might have other tools to do this better, I don’t.
  4. Mix in the cocoa powder and honey. Once it’s mixed in well, take a sample. Add more cocoa powder and honey as desired.

Variations:

  • Adding a bit of cinnamon might give this a Mexican chocolate taste. I haven’t tried it yet, but now I want to.

Notes:

  • The avocado really needs to be ripe. You want to make sure it gets really mashed up, no chunks.
  • The measurements are approximate, I usually go towards the high end, or maybe even a bit more.
